Last night, Sara Schenirer held a special open house for its well-prepared undergraduate Social Work track students, with the event expertly hosted by Mrs. Baila Halpern. The open house showcased the strong support system and outstanding education students can expect in their journey through the Master’s of Social Work program.
The open house was offered to the 100 plus dedicated young women in the Social Work track, who are given an earlier application deadline to ensure they’re prioritized in the admission process. The open house featured inspiring speeches by two distinguished alumni, Deena Cohen and Shaindy Perl, who praised the institute’s professors and shared their transformative experiences during the program. They emphasized the close-knit cohort they had become a part of and the peer support they received.
Kayla Freund, the South Jersey field planner, provided valuable insights into students’ potential opportunities through the field, while Esti Coates from Wurzweiler joined the event to share the University perspective on the value of the Sara Schenirer Wurzweiler partnership. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session, ensuring they had all the information they needed to plan for their future academic and professional pursuits.
