


On Tuesday, July 19th, Sara Schenirer in partnership with the College of Mt. St. Vincent celebrated the graduation of many undergraduate cohorts. Students were greeted by R’ Elazar Meisels, the beloved dean of the program. He conveyed a sense of the mission of Sara Schenirer, it’s rich history in educating frum women, and best wishes for the graduates’ future endeavors. Following his remarks, Dr. Susan Burns, the college president, spoke to the students. Her speech gave over the sense of pride that the college felt upon witnessing the students’ growth and accomplishment. Dr. Lynne Bongiovanni conferred the degrees to each student. Service awards were presented to Nechama Toplan (Brooklyn cohort), Rachelli Friedmann (Monsey cohort), Leah Shemtov (BBA cohort), Sarah Benchimol (Crown Heights cohort), Rachelli Unger (Five Towns cohort), and Miriam Kaufman (SSA cohort). At the end of the presentation, a beautiful gift was presented to each graduate with a personal message of empowerment.
