You are eligible for Initial certification upon graduation. It expires after 5 years. Once you have 3 years of teaching experience (which may include any experience received before or during your Master’s degree), you can apply for Professional certification.
You cannot apply for Initial Certification until you have completed all the steps that precede this one.
You only need to apply as an Independent P3 Provider once. If you never did so before, you cannot apply to be an Independent P3 Provider until your Initial Certification has been issued.
